Shisui Uchiha ((う ち は シ ス イ, Uchiha Shisui) is a shinobi of Konohagakure member clan. He was known as "Shisui of the body flicker" (瞬 身 の シ ス イ, Shunshin no Shisui; another meaning "Shisui the Teleporter").

[Background]

Shisui was noted to be one of the most talented members of the clan. In the past, he never against Ao. Until Ao particularly remember the shape chakra Shisui Shisui and ability to control others with Sharingan.

Approximately six months after joining the ANBU, Itachi began to act strangely, and Shisui was ordered by the Konoha Military Police to supervise him. Shortly after that Shisui was found drowned in the Naka River with a suicide note stating that he was tired of duty clan. Police suspect that Itachi was the one who had killed him and used his Sharingan to make a fake suicide note, because Shisui very devoted in the clan, then suicide would be very unusual. Itachi then tells Sasuke that he was the one who killed Shisui and faked suicide note, he stated it was all to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan. Shisui's body seems to have disappeared, as Kabuto Yakushi can not find it.

However, Itachi then reveals the truth behind the incident stated that the last time he met Shisui, Danzo Shimura has taken one of his eyes. Shisui then entrust others to Itachi's eyes and told him to protect the village and prevent conflicts that arise due to the wishes of others have eyes, and make it seem as if he himself had destroyed the eye before he died. He then removes leave corpses.

[Personality]

Itachi is a friend Shisui, in fact, think of it as her own brother Itachi. Shisui taught him that "self-sacrifice ... a nameless shinobi who protects peace in the shadow of ..." is a sign of true Shinobi. However, Shisui was also very devoted to the clan, which is why the Konoha Military Police Force asked him to spy on Itachi. This makes the police do not believe Shisui suicide. [Appearance]

Shisui had short dark hair and nose maintained relatively wide. His eyes also look dark fringes that possibility is a habit of most members of the clan (though his eyes were never seen without activating the Sharingan). He also has markings around his eyes turned upward at both ends. But In the anime the lines are not made along in its entirety. He seems also wear standard of clan that includes high-collared dark clothing along with tanto tied on the right side shoulder.

Shisui was listed as one of the most talented members of the Uchiha clan. He even earned the nickname "Shisui of the Body blink", possibly implying that he has a high mastery in Shunshin no jutsu. He was even considered to be one of the most powerful genjutsu users of the clan. One more proof of his greatness is that Kabuto Yakushi wants to revive him for war but failed to find sufficient DNA samples.

Like many other uchiha clan members, Shisui is a Sharingan user. He was praised as Itachi because it has control of most of his era.

[Mangekyo Sharingan]

Shisui is one of the few members of the Uchiha clan in the history of the clan who can evoke the Mangekyo Sharingan. It gives him a unique ability that is strong genjutsu technique, which is the strongest of all the unique genjutsu. It is also called a high level genjutsu that Kotoamatsukami. This technique allows him to enter one's mind and manipulate them by giving them a false experience, so it looks as if they do things that users want; victim will not realize they are being manipulated. This ability seems so unique and strong, even Tobi want it for himself and angry because Danzo managed to destroy the right eye Shisui before he died. Kabuto is also very pleased to learn that Shisui's left eye in the crow Itachi. However genjutsu can only be used once in a decade. Unless the user has a way to improve processes such as cell Hashirama Senju, thereby drastically reducing the time it takes from ten years to just a few hours. Shisui's eye is also seen as something that is very valuable and contested even within his own clan, because before his death he had to make sure that it looked like he had destroyed them before he died, fearing it would end up being a conflict.

[Legacy]

Throughout his life he Itachi is his friend, he teaches self-sacrifice and told him that a true shinobi is someone who protects the village from the shadows. Both Sharingan used by Danzo and Itachi to protect Konoha in their own way. [Trivia]

Shisui name has two meanings. Combining Shisui said Shi (死, Death) and Sui (水, Water), Shisui means "water of death", which is a reference to his death by drowning. But if "Shisui" (止水) just means "calm water" or "puddle".
